Is anyone else tired of modern Science? It’s a megachurch that’s been letting me down. COVID showed us who the real high priests are these days. And whom they’re willing to sacrifice. It used to be more clandestine before; they could have put the Vatican and Unions to shame! Using government grants, no less. Not funded by mere tithes of 10 percent; in Hollywood terms these are agents of change, not mere managers.
Medicine folks say they work clean but I don’t think it’s been a totally clean comedy. I think powerlessness went to their heads and they became microbe managers. Telling us to wash our hands. Use clean needles for our heroin. And to give up our jobs if we won’t vaccinate. I saw many a good person excommunicated, fired from healthcare church, they weren’t towing the line. So inspiring to see, I felt like such a wimp for conforming.
I personally want to be free and not herd. Ironically, the concept of herd immunity (not mentality) is that the group does a favor for the ones who can’t or won’t vaccinate; they take one for the team. We choose to accept the hassles of immunization so that a few exceptions can occur–on their own conscience, not needing a medical priest’s note.
Maybe medical mandates should be more like a volunteer military instead of a draft. The scientologists prefer a draft. And not with airtight arguments. Huge drafts in their mentality. Leaders are making major decisions before understanding problems fully. Bandaid culture has a lot of infection underneath. Weren’t so many of today’s solutions meant to be temporary while something better was cooked up on the side? It doesn’t feel like the cavalry is coming; not in education, nor healthcare, nor prisons. Garbage in, garbage out. Or left lying around, really. Truth be told already.
I hate when history repeats itself. New scenery but same old human behavior. I’m not even sure who the new pope is. It’s kind of running amok. American the Beautiful is more like a headless horseman right now.
